The Dog Park News June 1, 2012)

DogParksUSA spent its last day in the San Diego area assessing more dog parks and finding a very dog-friendly shopping area -- the Seaport Village. Almost every store permits dogs except for the art galleries (whose fragile wares won't survive the madly wagging dog tail). DogParksUSA field reporter dog Shiloh found goodies in most shops and lots of butt scratches from store personnel everywhere. There is a paid parking lot, but if you buy anything from a Seaport shop, the store will validate your parking stub allowing you to park for two hours for just $1.00.  You might have enough time, like DogParksUSA did, to take your dog for a walk along the Embarcadero before leaving.
